    外研版九年级上册英语Module 2 Public holidays大单元教学设计单元主题Module 2 Public holidays授课人年级九年级上册课型新授课课时5单元内容分析本模块主题属于“人与社会”范畴,涉及“世界主要国家的文化习俗与文化景观、节假日与庆祝活动”。节假日与学生的生活紧密相连,也是他们很感兴趣的话题。通过学习本模块,学生可以了解中外重要节日的名称和过节方式。这一模块的语法—时间状语从句,是初中阶段很重要的语法项目,教师可以引导学生通过例句来体会、理解,进而掌握本语法点。Unit 1主要围绕国庆节在中美两国的不同这一话题展开。其语言知识和技能都紧紧围绕这一话题。本单元的内容以对话的形式展现,让学生在一种轻松愉悦的氛围中学习本文语法——时间状语从句,使学生既学习了知识内容,也锻炼了交际能力和口语表达能力。Unit 2中的短文较为详细地描述了美国感恩节的由来、人们的庆祝方式及其意义。通过学习这篇文章,学生可以更加全面地了解感恩节。阅读短文之后,教师可以引导学生讨论:人类为什么要设立节日?人们庆祝节日的目的有哪些?Unit 3的语法重点是时间状语从句。教师要引导学生通过语境来感知和体会该语法项目。本单元语篇主要围绕“Public Holidays”这一主题开展,分别通过对话、阅读等形式来完成学习,掌握文中的日常交际用语,同时学习状语从句的用法。学生在完成课本里包含的活动外,还有进一步提升自己的读、写能力。学情分析学生们比较熟悉中国的节日,但大多数学生对外国节假日比较陌生,本单元谈论各国的主要公共假期,学生会觉得很新鲜和感兴趣。本节课学习时间状语从句,学生之前接触过但不够熟悉对话中的知识点还需要精讲足练。经过两年的听力训练,大多数学生已经掌握了捕捉关键词、关键句的听力技巧,但猜测词义和克服生词障碍的能力需加强。单元教学目标1.掌握本模块的词汇、所出现的日常交际用语,能就某一节日话题进行自如交谈。2.能用英语描述自己知道的外国节日与本国节日的不同。3.通过本模块对时间状语从句的学习,使学生达到熟练运用时间状语从句的程度。4.提高学生的交际能力、写作能力和团结协作的能力。重难点1.重点:(1)熟练掌握时间状语从句的用法。(2)掌握文中的日常交际用语。2.难点:(1)能就某一节日话题用英语进行自如地谈论。(2)能用英语写有关节日的文章。Module2 课时教学设计教学内容Unit 1 My family always go somewhere interesting as soon as the holiday begins.课 型Listening and speaking 二次设计教学课时2 2素养目标1.能掌握文中词汇并能熟练拼写。2.能理解对话的大意并掌握对话中的重点句型。3.能熟练掌握文中出现的日常交际用语。4.通过学习国内外的法定节日,让学生了解各国节日的风俗习惯,开阔视野。教学重点1. 掌握文中重点词汇和句型。2. 熟练运用文中出现的日常交际用语。3. 掌握英语中日期的表达方法及序数词。4. 了解时间状语从句的用法。教学难点1. 灵活运用英语中日期的表达方法及序数词。2. 熟练运用时间状语从句。教学过程Step 1 Lead-inT:How many holidays do you know in China? What are they?S:…(学生说出自己知道的节假日)T:What are public holidays?S:…T:Do you want to know some holidays in the US,the UK…?S:Yes,…T:Well.Today we will learn about National Day in China and the US.【设计意图】通过让学生自由谈论节日导入新课,既活跃了课堂气氛,也让学生比较迅速地进入到状态中,调动了他们的学习积极性。Step 2 PresentationLook at the picture and answer the questions in Activity 1.T:Let's look at the picture.What do you see?Let's describe it by answering the two questions.Q1:Which public holiday are people celebrating?Q2:When is this holiday in China?【设计意图】以图片的形式吸引学生的注意力,让学生根据图片的内容进行描述。通过这个活动既巩固了学生对词汇的记忆,也培养了学生的想象力和创造力。Step 3 Listening1.Play the recording and let the students listen to it carefully.Then complete the sentences in Activity 2.(1)Labour Day in China is on ________________.(2)May Day in the UK is on ________________.(3)Labour Day in the US is on ________________.2.Listen again and check the answers.【设计意图】通过听力训练,锻炼了学生听的能力,也让他们进一步熟悉了劳动节在三个国家的不同时间。2.
