What Are Their Main Differences?The main difference between past simple tense and present simple tense is in terms f time and usage. Past simple tense tends t talk abut past events and actins. Present simple, hwever, talks abut actins r states that are general r always true.

The present simple ften ges with adverbs like always, usually, smetimes, never, every day, r n Mndays, as these wrds help indicate rutine r regularity.
The past simple, n the ther hand, ften pairs with time expressins like yesterday, last year, in 2000, tw days ag, r when I was a child, indicating specific times in the past.
Past simple vs. Present simple - Structures
The structure f the present simple tense invlves using the base frm f the verb, with an -s added t the third-persn singular subjects (he, she, it).
The structure f the past simple tense invlves using the past frm f the verb which is usually frmed by adding '-ed' t the end f the base frm f the verb. Hwever, the past frm des nt change accrding t the subject.
Past simple vs. Present simple - Irregular Verbs
