    1)教学重点:掌握有关种植植物所需的相关条件的单词:grw, pt, sil, light, large, happen, rt, bee, wind等。
    2)教学难点:掌握以下句型并能灵活运用:

    What will happen? It will grw…
    教学过程
    Perid 1
    Step I Warm- up
    1Review the units learnt befre.
    a.When d yu get up everyday?
    b.Hw ften d yu brush yur teeth?
    c.Hw ften d cmb yur hair?
    d.What are gd habits?
    2Lead- in. Take ut tw pts f plants .One is in the sil, the ther is in the water. Intrduce them as new cmers t the kids.
    “Hell, nice t meet yu. We are plant A and plant B. We are sisters. D yu want t knw smething abut us?
    I am plant A and I live in water. I need water and sunlight.
    I am plant B and I live in the sil. I need sil and sunlight.
    Step II Presentatin
    1. T: What d these tw plants need?
    They need water, sunlight, pt
    Teacher pints t the bjects abve and help the kids t read them.
    2. Teacher takes ut the wrd cards: a little water, a lt f water, a small pt, a large pt, a little light and a lt f light. Students read after the teacher twice.
    3. Ask the kids t watch and read part A.
    T: I want t grw sme new plants.
    What d the plants need?
    Ps: sil, pt, water, and light
    Perid 2
    Step I Warm- up
    1.Guessing the picture. Wh is a lucky dg?
    Shw pictures f the wrds learnt befre. Then let the kids guess which picture I am ging t shw. The winner will get a lucky star.
    2.Questin guiding. Students ask fr each ther.

    Step II Lead- in
    1. Watch the vide.
    The children are ding an experiment. Let’s see what is ging n.
    2. Shw the key sentences n the blackbard and the kids shuld cpy them. Lead the kids read them twice and practice using them.
    a. What will happen?
    b. It will die. It will grw slwly/quickly.
    3. Talk abut the pictures shwed n the screen. D a similar experiment as B1.
    The children are ding an experiment. Let’s see what is ging n.
    Teacher: Give this plant a little water everyday.
    Guess. What will happen?
    Ss: They will grw quickly.
    Teacher: Give this plant a lt f water nce a week.
    Guess. What will happen?
    Ss: It will grw slwly.
    Teacher: Give this plant a little water nce a mnth.
    Guess! What will happen?
    Ss: It will die.

    Step II Lead- in.
    1)Ask the kids t chant part G.
    2)Learn part C.
    A) Shw big pictures f a seed, a plant, sme rain, a sun, a flwer, tw bees, wind, sil and ther new green plants.
    Teacher: What is this?
    Ss: It is a seed / a plant/ a sun/ a flwer/ wind/sil.
    Teacher: What are these?
    Ss: They are tw bees / sme new plants.
    B) Teacher shws hw a plant grws by using the pictures abve step by step.
    Teacher: First, seeds fall n the grund.
    Then, it needs sun and rain and it grws.
    Next, a flwer grws.
    After that, bees cme t the flwer.
    The wind cmes and blws the new seeds t new sil.
    At last, new plants grw.
    C) Play the vide “Kk lves English”-----“A TV shw”.
    D) Help the kids t finish part D. Number the sentences.
    (3)---A flwer grws n the plant.
    (1)---Seeds fall n sme sil.
    (4)---Bees help the flwer make new seeds.
    (2)---A plant grws.
    E) Give the pictures t different students and ask them t act accrding t what I say.
    I say “seed”, the student with picture “seed” stands up, then the ther students describe “seeds fall n the grund”
    I say “sun and rain”, the student with picture “sun and rain” stands up. The ther students say “The seed needs sun and rain.”
    I say “tw bees,” the student with picture “tw bees” stands up.
    The ther students say “The bees cme t the flwer.”
    I say “wind”, the student with picture “wind” stands up, then the ther students say “The wind takes the new seeds t new sil.”
    I say “new and green plants”, students with picture “new and green plants” stand up. The ther students say “New plants grw again.”
    Hmewrk
    1. Make up the dialgues accrding t the pictures n page 37.
    2. Recite part A.
    3. Make up the dialgues accrding t the pictures n page 38.
    4. Recite part B1.
    5. Have a gd pre-revisin abut part C.
    6. Retell the stry t yur parents.
