    用途: 在句中常做伴随, 方式, 原因,条件等状语。构成: with + 宾语 + 宾语补足语 宾语可以是名词或代词,宾语补足语可以是名词、形容词、副词、介词短语、动词不定式以及分词等。 宾语与宾语补足语有逻辑上的主谓关系。 例句: He left the rm with the dr pen. (形容词) With the meal ver , we all went hme.(副词) He was asleep with his head n his arms. (介词短语) All the afternn he wrked with the dr lcked. I can't g ut with all these dishes t wash. She fell asleep with the light burning.
    2) light在此处意为 “光, 光线”, 为不可数名词。还可用作可数名词, 意为 “灯”。此外还可用作形容词, 意为 “浅色的”,反义词为dark; 还有 “轻的”意思, 反义词为heavy。3) feel like... “感觉像……” eg: They made me feel like ne f the family. 【拓展】 feel like还可意为 “想要”, 后面跟n./v-ing形式。e.g. I dn't feel like eating anything nw.
    2. Ben’s dad was putting pieces f wd ver the windws. 1) wd 此处用作不可数名词, 意为 “木头; 木材”。 a piece f wd 意为 “一块木头” wd 用作可数名词, 常用复数, 意为 “树木”。 They are walking in the wds. 他们在小森林里散步。 2) ver 在此为介词, 意思为 “在…之上”。e.g. The lamp hung ver the table. She put a blanket ver the sleeping child.

    4. Ben was helping his mm make dinner when the rain began t beat heavily against the windws. 1) beat 此处用作不及物动词, 意为“ (连续)敲打; (心脏等)跳动”。beat还可用作及物动词, 意为 “打败”。 【辨析】beat与win ① beat 后常接的是比赛的对手, 即指人或参赛队的名词或代词。 ② win后常接的是比赛、战争、奖品、奖金等名词。 At last, we win the game!     2) against prep. 意为 “倚靠; 碰撞; 逆着; 对抗”。e.g. He std against the wall. 他倚着墙站着。 He ran against the wall. 他撞到了墙上。 We sailed against the wind. 我们逆风航行。 They played against Australia. 他们对阵澳大利亚队。 against还可意为“反对”, 其反义词为fr。eg: They are strngly against the plan.3) beat against: 雨打,风吹;拍击 The waves beat against the sea shre.
