【Teaching Aims】


1.Knwledge and ability:


1) 能够在图片和教师的帮助下理解对话大意。


2) 能够用正确的语音、语调朗读对话，并能进行角色表演。


3) 能够在情景中运用句型What’s the weather like in New Yrk? It’s rainy. 问答某地天气情况；能够运用句型Is it cld? Yes, it is. N, it isn’t. 确认某地天气状况并能运用句型It’s 26 degrees.表述气温。


4) 能够在语境中理解生词和短语New Yrk, rainy, hw abut, degree的意思，并能正确发音。


5) 能够完成Let’s play的活动，认真观察配图了解一些国家的国旗、重要城市及天气情况，能运用句型What’s the weather like in Beijing? It’s cl and rainy. 问答某城市的天气。

Step 1 Warm-up





Greeting


（教室外打电话）Hi, there! This is Miss Yang. Brrr, it’s cld utside. I wanna meet yu sn.


I’m cming in, nw.（进教室）Ww, it’s s warm inside here. And tday we will g n talking abut the “weather”.（板书，读两遍）


【设计意图】课件利用Fcusky的交互式动画设计，让学生整体感知今天的天气主题，以及所有的幻灯片设计内容。


课程开始教师在教室外操作课件，设计与学生打电话的缓解，导入今天课文中对于电话


用语的初步感知。语言涉及即将要复习的chant内容。学生感到很新奇，精力十分集中。

【设计意图】通过热身环节复习A部分的chant，节奏明快、动作活泼，学生热情很高。既复习了气温句型，又涉及了不同天气不同穿衣的表达方式，为拓展缓解做铺垫。同时导入摄 氏度和华氏度的评价方式，为后面摄氏度华氏度文化做铺垫，整个新授环节都在学生感兴趣的情境中渗透摄氏度、华氏度这个理解难点。

T:D yu knw “New Yrk”? Yeah, it’s the biggest city in America.(视频纽约文化简介)Fllw me “New Yrk”两遍(摄氏度组读，华氏度组读。)


Let’s g back t Chen Jie and Mark. Watch and answer


“What’s the weather like in New Yrk?” A.I t’s ht. B. It’s rainy.


S1: Chse B.（板书）+（加分）


【设计意图】给学生播放一段纽约航拍宣传片，十分震撼，配以教师写的纽约的各景点的英文录音介绍，给学生渗透了纽约文化。另外第一次加分，摄氏度组加2 degrees，在加分的同时加深了degree这个单词的读音。（A部分learn已经学过读音，B部分talk更进一步要求认读。）





播放下雨动画，Fllw me “rainy”两遍，“It’s rainy”两遍(4~4回答句子)（板书）


【设计意图】rainy对于学生来说比较简单，所以跟读两遍就引导学生回答句子It’s rainy.做到词不离句，在情境中作答。





c．T: What’s the weather like in New Yrk?

师问生答，生问师答，生生答问

【设计意图】学生A部分已经学习过It’s +气温的句型，刚刚又学习了It’s +气象的句型，因此设计环节引导学生回答It’s 气温+气象，也完成了Let’s play的教学目标。另外，评价方式华氏度组加35.6 degrees，以此类推，华氏度组和摄氏度组每次的加分值是不同的。

发放小组合作会用到的城市及其气温、气象、温度、穿衣指数等信息卡。

教师引导Tgether：It's 26 degrees.





T:But why des Mark think that 26 centigrade is very cld?


Lk at here, every grup has the same chances f adding pints. Althugh every time the pints are different, but the final temperature is the same.


This is the difference between centigrade and Fahrenheit.The eastern wrld usually use Centigrade, while the western cuntries usually use Fahrenheit.This is the reasn why Mark thinks 26 degrees is very cld.


【设计意图】通过温度计评价方式的合并，告诉学生摄氏度组和华氏度组加分次数相同，虽然每次加的分值不同，但最终的结果其实是一样的，很自然很明了的理解了摄氏度和华氏度的区别，突破难点。

I chse a picture. And yu turn back, try t guess. Use the sentence” Is it ”And yu have tw chances.


【设计意图】通过游戏练习一般疑问句和温度。一名同学背对其猜测，一名抽温度计，给全班同学看，回答后，教师引导学生一起跟这名同学读答句，全班同学都得到练习。然后一名同学抽温度计，自己看，一名同学上前猜测，教师引导全班同学跟猜测的同学读问句，又让全班同学练习了问句，比跟着老师的兴趣要高很多。运用不同的猜答方式使学生在热情的氛围中练习教学重点。


Step 3 Cnslidatin and extensin








1.小组合作拓展：网络直播。A同学带着之前课程中获得的信息卡，换位前往相邻的城市小组，与其他城市的B、C、D同学进行对话。表演完后，其他学生可以上前点赞。


【设计意图】拓展环节练习了本节课涉及的电话用语、天气交际，又复习了第二单元的时间，和三年级的自我介绍用语，语言输出量非常丰富。同时对于能力较强的A、B同学，还能涉及不同天气的穿衣、行事等生活常识的表达。而最后的点赞环节，也培养的学生的倾听能力。
