Step1: lead in :

T:Draw a picture on the board and ask:

Please look at the board and guess :What’s this in English?

T:Do you love books?  Do you love reading?  What’s your favouorite book?

Step2:listen and learn to sing the song.

1、Listen to the tape then try to find out :

What can you here from the song?

T:Open the books and sing the song with the tape.

Sing the song in groups or pairs.

T shows the picture about World Book Day and shows some English books.

T:Please read your English book in your groups and let others guess the title of the book.

T:Shows some English saying and match.

T;What’s your favourite saying ?

T:if you like science books you can try a story book. Please make a new chant.

T:World Book Day is coming .Let’s do some sth .let’s encourage more people to read books.
