    【教材分析】


    This teaching perid mainly deals with reading fr writing a class wellness bk. Students are expected t learn the knwledge abut hw t write a class wellness bk. First, students are suppsed t read a passage which is specially designed t study fr the writing purpse. Then, under the guidance f the teacher, students shuld discuss the tpics mentined n the textbk and learn t write a prper wellness bk. The teacher is expected t enable students t master sme writing skills cncerning class wellness bk and learn t write ne.


    【教学目标与核心素养】


    1. Get students t have a gd understanding f hw t write class wellness bk prperly.


    2. Enable students t use sme writing skills flexibly.


    3. Develp students’ writing and cperating abilities.


    4. Strengthen students’ great interest in writing discurses.


    【教学重难点】


    1. Hw t enable students t have a gd understanding f the skills f writing a class wellness bk 2.Hw t enable students t write a gd class wellness bk using sme writing skills prperly.


    【教学过程】


    Step1 Lead in:


    At the beginning, a teacher can intrduce the tpic by asking: D yu want t lse weight and why? D yu think yu are fit? After having a small discussin abut it, they can mve n t read the passage and handle the fllwing activities ne by ne.


    Step 2 Read t discver details


    Students are instructed t read a passage titled “Ging Psitive” and then slve the questins belw.


    1.What prblem did Kayla have in the past?


    2.What des the sentence “almst went bananas” mean?


    3.What made her change her thinking?


    After cmpleting the activities abve, they can mve n t the text task:


    Step 3: Read t sum up


    Read the passage again and figure ut the rganizatin and language features.


    Step 4: Use what yu have learnt t write a prper class wellness bk.


    1. Have the Ss wrk in grups. Discuss the questins belw, then get several students t shw their ideas.


    Exercise: What can yu d t make exercise like jgging mre enjyable?


    Stress: Hw can yu plan yur wrk and make sure that yu als have time t rest and relax?


    Self-cnfidence: What can yu d t becme mre cnfident and feel better abut yurself?


    Fd: Hw can yu make yur meals healthier?


    2. Get the Ss t use the ideas frm discussin t list sme psitive changes.

    Then have them write a shrt paragraph t describe and explain their changes. After that, get the Ss t exchange their drafts with their partners and use the checklist t give feedback n their drafts, and finally revise it.

    该写作属于经验分享,故要用第一人称来写;时态以一股现在时为主。
