s … that 意为“如此……以至于”，引导结果状语从句，其中 s 是副词，修饰形容词或副词，其构成为“s + 形容词/副词 + that 从句”。He wrked s hard that he passed the exam.He was s wrried that he didn’t sleep well last night.
3. s … that 的用法
① such … that也可引导结果状语从句，但 such 为限定词，修饰名词，其结构为“such (+ a/an) + 形容词 + 名词 + that 从句”。This is such an imprtant prblem that we shuld take it seriusly.
s … that… 结构有时可与 t … t…(太……而不能……），nt … enugh t d …（做某事不够……）结构互换。The man is s weak that he can’t swim acrss the river.= The man is t weak t swim acrss the river.= The man is nt strng enugh t swim acrss the river.
【特别提醒】 当形容词为 many/much/few/little（少）时，要用 s，不要用 such，即“s + many/much/few/little + 名词 + that 从句”。There are s many apples that I can’t eat them all.
