    Step 1 Greeting


    Great the class.


    Step 2 Leading in


    Say What kind f bks d yu like? I like interesting bks. I like bks that are interesting. Write…that are interesting n the blackbard. Pint t it and ask wh can make anther sentence with it. Write anther phrase n the blackbard, …that is cmfrtable t …. Help the students t make sentences with it.


    Step 3 Presentatin


    1. 教师播放学生较熟悉的带有歌词或歌手的图片的流行歌曲, 激发学生的学习兴趣, 同事师生对话,引出本单元的内容学习,为完成1a做铺垫。

    S: Yes, I d.


    T: What kind f music /… d yu like?


    S: I like…


    T: Which singer d yu like?


    S: I like…


    2. Play the tapes f different kinds f music fr the students, nly a shrt piece f each tape. Say, I like music that makes me relaxed. Write these fur grups f wrds n the blackbard,…that has great lyrics,…that I can sing alng with,…that isn’t t lud, …that I can dance t. Tell the students lyrics means the wrds f the sngs. Ask the students, What kind f music d yu like?


    Say, Yu can answer with I like music…, I lve music…, I prefer music… Explain prefer=like…better t them. Get ne f the children t answer the questin, then let this child ask the ne next t him/her the same questin. Set ff a chain drill. Explain that I like music that isn’t means that I dn’t like t lud music.


    3. Shw students sme different kinds f pictures f mvies and ask students t discuss what kind f mvies they like in pairs.


    4. Discussin: 1a.


    让学生在小组内交流讨论自己的喜好,教师适时总结并完成对新词的学习,然后对单词进行强化训练, 让学生交流对一些歌曲的看法,写下句子并引出本节课的重点句型。

    通过对这些句子的学习,引导学生归纳比较引导的定语从句及其结构特点,教师进行精讲点拨,培养他们的观察能力,为下一步的听力打好基础。

    让学生看图表,明确表格中有谁,分别喜欢什么类型的音乐,完成相对应的选择。

    Finish 1c. Make a cnversatin between yu and yur partner abut the music that yu like.

    Listen t the tape fr the first time and finish 2a.

    通过听力训练,进一步熟悉练习that/wh引导的定语从句。

    1. Read the cnversatin and answer the questins.

    (3) What kind f mvies des Jill want t see?


    2. Rle-play the cnversatin in 2d.


    Step 9 Language pints


    1. Hmm, depends which mvie.


    1) 本句省略了depends前的主语it和which mvie后的从句部分we’ll watch,这是典型的口语表达形式。在口语和非正式场合,为保持语言简洁明了,交流者往往会省略彼此所知或逻辑上可明确推断的内容。例如:


    Anything I can d fr yu? 我能为您做些什么吗?(省略句首部分Is there)


    Please hand me ne f thse bks; I dn’t care which.


    请把那些书递给我一本,不管哪本都行。(省略句尾部分yu hand me)


    2) It depends (n) wh/ what/ hw/ whether…是一个常见句型。当depend后接疑问词及含有疑问词的短语和从句时,口语中会省略depend后的介词n,以求话语简练。例如:


    It depends what day yu catch me, and at what time f day.


    这取决于你哪天见我,以及见我的时间。


    Well, as fr this matter, I can’t decide fr nw. Depends whether r nt yur dad will say yes.


    嗯,这件事我现在决定不了,取决于你老爸是否会同意。


    2. I just want t laugh and nt think t much.


    这句话中的t laugh和nt think t much均为动词不定式,但后者在nt和think之间省略了t。英语语句中当多个不定式结构并列使用时,t出现在第一个结构中,后面的往往会省略。再如:


    She likes t sing, dance and hang ut with her friends. 她喜欢唱歌、跳舞、与朋友们外出消遣。


    3. I prefer music that has great lyrics.


    句中的prefer意为“更喜爱;更喜欢”,后可接名词、v.-ing形式或动词不定式。如:


    I prefer the white bag. 我更喜欢那个白色的包。


    Tny prefers staying / t stay at hme n weekends. 托尼更喜欢周末待在家。


    此外,prefer还可用于句型“prefer ... t ...”中,意为“喜欢……而不喜欢(胜过)……”。如:


    Linda prefers apples t pears. 琳达喜欢苹果而不喜欢梨。


    I prefer reading bks t watching TV. 我喜欢阅读而不喜欢看电视。


    4. I suppse I’ll just listen t this new CD I bught.


    仔细观察下面例句中suppse的用法和意义,然后补全结论部分所缺的内容。


    a. We are suppsed t get there n time.


    b. I suppse she will be back next year.


    c. —D yu suppse he will agree?


    —Yes, I suppse s. / N, I suppse nt.


    a. We are suppsed t get there n time.


    (1)观察例句a可知,“被期望/要求做某事”或“该做某事”可用 __________________ 结构表示,含有必须、应该做某事之意,相当于shuld。


    b. I suppse she will be back next year.


    c. —D yu suppse he will agree?


    —Yes, I suppse s. / N, I suppse nt.


    (2)例句b中“suppse +that从句”意为“猜测/假定……”,that可以省略,若为否定句,和think,believe等动词的用法一样,应该否定____(主语/从句),即否定前移;例子c中对疑问句作肯定回答可用________________ ,否定回答可用N, I suppse nt。


    Step 10 Grammar


    在复合句中修饰名词或代词的从句叫定语从句


    e.g. I like music that I can dance t. music 是先行词,that是关系代词


    He is the man wh I met yesterday. man是先行词,wh是关系代词


    RULES


    人 (n.) + wh/that + 从句 物 (n.) + that/which + 从句


    关系代词wh; that;的作用:


    a. 做代词,代替先行词 b. 在从句中担任句子成分:主语或宾语


    c. 做连词,把主句和从句连接起来


    wh / that/which 在定语从句中做主语时,谓语动词的单复数应与先行词保持一致

    在2d中找定语从句。
