六年级下册英语教材分析
一、指导思想
《新标准英语》 New Standard English (NSE)是依据《英语课程标准》编写的中小学英语“一条龙”的英语教材。是外语教学与研究出版社出版的中小学英语教材。本教材依据以素质教育为根本的指导思想来编写,因此,此教材并不是单纯的英语语言教材,而是有利于促进学生全面发展、培养学生创新精神和实践能力、具有丰富文化内涵的教材。在培养学生英语语言能力的同时,以素质教育为核心,以全面提高学生的综合素质为根本目的,促进学生德、智、体、美、劳全面发展,开发学生的潜力,培养学生的创新精神,引导学生形成开放的、合理的跨文化认知与理解观念。
二、教材特点
这套教材是供小学六年级下学期使用的,全书共分11个模块,内含一个期末复习模块。每个模块仍然根据以前册数的惯例,各分两课时。一般情况下,第一模块呈现本单元所要学习的语言内容,第二单元提供若干任务型(Task-based)练习,包括一首歌谣或小诗。歌谣和小诗的学习,目的有三:一是培养学生的语感和节奏感;二是提高发音的正确性;三是通过这些英语国家儿童所熟知的歌谣,介绍一定的西方文化。其中的一些不常用的单词,不要求学生在歌谣之外学会使用。在本册中,我们将继续和Daming 一起了解美国,然后了解Daming回到中国之后为小学毕业、升入中学学习做准备。并了解一些关于英国的情况。我们将全面复习以前已学习过的知识、技能、能力,对小学英语学习进行全面的巩固,为在中学进一步学习英语打好坚实的基础。课文中呈现了一些新的语法内容,但不要求老师讲解语法知识,更不要求学生掌握语法知识,而是要求学生初步学会运用这些语句。
因此,整套教材都始终注意培养学生的学习方法、创新能力、主体意识、独立工作能力、逻辑思维能力、观察判断能力等。练习的设计尽可能按照运用任务设计,避免单纯的模仿和机械的重复或脱离上下文的孤立的猜选;练习题的内容尽可能激发学生的兴趣和好奇心以及求知欲。
三、方法措施
1、认真备课、钻研教材,抓紧课堂教学,做到当堂内容当堂掌握。
2、运用各种不同的肢体语言来辅助教学。
3、在课堂上多开展一些有趣的活动、游戏让学生在活动中学习英语,在生活中学习英语。
4、多为学生营造一些学习氛围,如:创设英语角等。
5、要求学生在课余时间尽量的运用已经学习的英语进行对话。
6、多看英语画报,多读英语故事,多看英语书籍。
7、多与学生交流,进行口语交际训练。

1、知识目标
1) 四会单词:look, cashier, cola, dollar, cent, enjoy, careful, Be careful!
2)能灵活运用重点句型,并清楚其运用的场合和语言:What do you want?/I want a hot dog, please./How much is it?/It is thirteen dollars and twenty-five cents.
2、能力目标
1) 通过情景交际活动,营造探究的学习氛围,引导学生自我探究,培养学生的听、说、读、写等综合能力及英语进行交际的能力。
2) 通过会话表演、小组比赛、游戏等活动多角度激发学生自主探究学习的积极性,培养学生学习英语的兴趣。
3、情感目标
1) 根据学生的心理特点及实际情况设计有意义的教学活动,激发学生的积极性,使学生懂得如何在西式快餐店用英语点餐。
2) 使学生能利用所学的知识与别人合作、交流获得成功的喜悦。

2. 课文教学
A. 正式学习课文以前,老师向学生提出问题; Who is the birthday party for? What is Daming doing? What is Simon playing? Who is coming in the door? Who is singing? Who is laughing?
B. 将自制的课文挂图贴在黑板上,播放录音,学生听完以后,请学生尝试回答前面提出的问题。
C. 学生打开书,老师再次播放录音,学生边听边看书,同时用笔勾画出课文中的生词,并猜词义。针对某个词老师做讲解或让学习较好的学生提供讲解。
D. 老师请学生看活动1的第一幅图画,请一位学生描述Daming正在做什么,另一位学生描述这时又发生了什么事情,请第三位学生将前面两位学生说的话连成一个句子。提醒学生中间要用but来连接,强化学生对 but的理解,再让学生描述后两幅图画。

老师问候学生。出示SB Unit 1的挂图,请几位学生讲述课文故事,提醒他们使用学习过的句型“He/She is ……but……”讲解,并鼓励学生表演,以此来复习上一单元学过的内容。

A. 分组进行“拼句子”游戏。学生四人一组,其中一人说出主语,另一人说出相应动词be,第三人说出动词的现在进行时,第四人说出事件发生地点的单词或短语。看哪组说得快,说得准,哪组获胜。
B. 老师出示SB Unit 2活动1 中“一个正在吃饭的女孩”以及“电话铃在响”的图片,让学生分别描述一下每张图片的内容,然后把两张图片拼在一起说:“如果把这两张图拼在一起,应该怎么描述呢?”请学生试着说说然后看课文。
2. 课文教学
A. 向学生说明:途中的人物正在做某件事情的时候发生了一些意外情况,提醒学生运用but并向学生解释说明图3的圆框中是一个高温图标,而图中的女孩又是大汗淋漓,引导学生说:It’s very hot. It’s getting very hot.
B. 老师放录音,学生听听自己的理解是否与录音中的一致,再放一遍录音,让学生跟读。
C. SB Unit 2 中的活动3 :老师放诗歌录音,学生把握诗歌的情节和韵律。放第二遍时让学生跟读并提醒他们注意语音、语调和韵律,再次放录音学生边跟读边打节拍,鼓励学生给这首诗歌编上动作,打着节拍朗读出来。
