1. 基数词在表示数量时与表示编号、号码时的读法不一样。

读作:eighty-seven millin three hundred thusand and five
电话号码:82772906
读作: eight tw seven seven tw nine zer six
2. hundred, thusand, millin 有不加‘s’和加‘s’两种情况:
I have tw hundred bks. ( 不可加s)
我有二百本书。
I have hundreds f bks. (必须加s)
我有数百本书。
二、序数词用法
1. 表日期:the fifth f June (=June the fifth) 6月5日
2. 表顺序或编号:
the secnd lessn (=Lessn Tw)
3. 序数词常与the 连用,但以下两种情况不用the
(1) 作副词, 如:

他考试常名列第一。

(2) 前面有限定词(如形物代或名词所有格)时,不可再用the。
