Many famus peple studied here, such as Isaac Newtn and Charles Darwin. There are lts f ld buildings and churches t visit. Students and turists enjy trips alng the river by bat.
Cambridge is 80 kilmetres frm Lndn. Lndn is in the suth f England and it is n the River Thames. It has a ppulatin f abut seven and a half millin, s it is bigger and busier than Cambridge. It is abut 2,000 years ld, and it is famus fr Big Ben, Buckingham Palace and Twer Bridge.
England itself is part f an island, and yu are always near the sea. The small villages and beaches n the cast are ppular fr hlidays. Turists like the areas f lw muntains and beautiful lakes in the nrth, and the hills and pretty villages in the suth. Everywhere in England, yu will ntice hw green the cuntryside is.
