    Treasure Yur Time
"Time," says the prverb, "is mney". This means that every mment well-spent may put sme mney int ur pckets.
If ur time is usefully emplyed, it will either turn ut sme useful and imprtant piece f wrk which will fetch its price in the market, r it will add t ur experience and increase ur capacities s as t enable us t earn mney when the prper pprtunity cmes. Let thse, wh think nthing f wasting time, remember this.
Our life is nthing mre than ur time. T kill time is therefre a frm f suicide. We are shcked when we think f death, and we spare n pains, n truble, and n expense t preserve life.
But we are t ften indifferent t the lss f an hur r f a day, frgetting that ur life is the sum ttal f the days and f the hurs we live. A day r an hur wasted is therefre s much life frfeited. Our life is a brief span measuring sme seventy r eighty years in all.
But nearly ne third f this has t be spent in sleep; sme years have t be spent ver ur meals; sme in making jurneys n land and vyages by sea; sme in merry-making; sme in watching ver the sick-beds f ur nearest and dearest relatives.
Nw if all these years were t be deducted frm the term ver which ur life extends, we shall find abut twenty r thirty years at ur dispsal fr active wrk. Whever remembers this can never willingly waste a single mment f his life.
All time is precius; but the time f ur childhd and f ur yuth is mre precius than any ther prtin f ur existence. Fr thse are the perids when alne we can acquire knwledge and develp ur capacities.
If we allw these mrning hurs f life t slip away, we shall never be able t recup the lss. Just as mney laid ut at interest dubles and trebles itself in time, s the precius hurs f childhd and yuth, if prperly used, will yield us incalculable advantages.

    1. balln [bɑ:'luŋ] n.气球
    2. helium ['hi:liəm] n.氦
    3. gun [ɡʌn] n. 枪支
