In rder t prtect pandas in the wild, the gvernment is setting up nature parks and develping ther plans.
The nature parks will be big and there will be mre bamb t feed the pandas.
3. 能够读懂有关濒危动物现状的文章，明白文章的主旨大意和谋篇布局并获取细节信息。
4. 能够模仿课文的写作形式，写一篇介绍某种濒危动物的现状的短文。
5. 能够意识到环境保护的重要性，增强进行环保宣传的责任感，关爱地球上的濒危动物。

重点：

四、教学过程
Step 1 Warming-up
1. T describes the animal and lets Ss guess what it is.
2. T asks Ss t say what they knw abut pandas.
【设计意图】通过猜谜游戏和自由讨论活动，让学生了解熊猫的相关知识，充分调动起学生的学习兴趣，自然导入本课话题。
Step 2 Pre-reading
1. Read the wrds and expressins in the left clumn, and then match them with the Chinese meanings in the right clumn.
2. Check the answers tgether, and then ask Ss t read the wrds and expressins twice.

Step 3 While-reading
1. Read the passage and match the headings with the paragraphs.

3. Read Para. 3~4. Then check the sentences and crrect the wrng sentences.

(1) Scientists are ding a lt f research t help pandas prduce mre babies and help baby pandas live. 科学家正在进行多项研究，以帮助大熊猫繁殖更多的后代，并帮助大熊猫的幼仔生存下去。
(2) In rder t prtect pandas in the wild, the gvernment is setting up nature parks and develping ther plans. 为了保护野生大熊猫，政府正在建立自然公园并制定其他的计划。
(3) The nature parks will be big and there will be mre bamb t feed the pandas. 自然公园占地面积大，会有更多的竹子用于喂养大熊猫。
