It will allw us t dwnlad an entire HD mvie in secnds. The delay(延时)between sending and receiving data will be shrtened. Nw, 4Gtakes abut 100 t 200 millisecnds, while humans have a reactin time f abut 200 t 300 millisecnds. But 5G will get the delay dwn t I millisecnd r less, which is almst real—time.
With the develpment f 5G, new kinds f technlgy will be created and used.
Rbts will be used t d peratins because dctrs will be able t cntrl them frm smewhere else withut any delay. Self—driving cars will be able t drive mre safely because they can smthly cmmunicate with each ther, traffic lights and rad sensrs.
5G netwrks will be pwerful, but nt perfect. They d have sme disadvantages.
On ne hand, 5G signals dn't g very far. On 4G netwrks, yu can be 10 kilmeters away frm the nearest transmissin base(传送基站）and dn't lse signal. But 5G maxes ut at abut 300 meters. On the ther hand, 5G signals have a hard time ging thrugh walls and rains. This means we will need t build many small transmitters t make sure 5G signals can be received everywhere. Then, in the 1960s, David Cllins made imprtant develpments in bar cdes. He develped a system fr recgnizing train carriages.
