3. As well as the usual activities, such as sailing and climbing, there was a writing class.
as well as 表示“也,还,而且”。后面加名词或动词ing形式。
4. Back at schl, David wrte a stry abut the life f a sixteen-year-ld by, and it came ut as a bk in 2012.
cme ut 表示“出版, 发行”。还表示“显露”。
5. Many yung peple lve his bk, and as a result, David has becme a successful yung writer.
as a result表示“结果”, 后面用逗号隔开。
s表示“因此”, 后面不用逗号隔开。
6. I spend sme f my free time playing vlleyball fr my schl team.
spend time (in) ding sth. 表示“花费时间做某事”, 介词in可以省略。如果表示“在某物上花费时间”, 要用spend time n sth.。
设计意图:通过讲解知识点,旨在加深学生对文章的理解,使学生更进一步握文章内容,为下一步写作打下基础。
